Reminder!!!! 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off with Celebrity Judges!
Celebrity Judges this year are:
- Gene Street — Restaurateur: III Forks and Silver Fox.
- Chef Kent Rathbun — Restaurateur: Abacus, Jasper's and Food Network regular.
- Jody Dean — KTVT TV (CBS) anchor and host of the KLUV Morning Show.
- Christine Cook — President of Sleep Experts.
- Celena Rae from American Idol.
- Jennifer Reed from KDBN Radio "The Bone."
- Susan Martinez — Restaurateur: El Fenix.
- Shirley Ward — Founder of DREAM Fund.
Benefiting the DREAM Fund
When: Saturday, November 12, 2005
Location: Las Colinas Equestrian Center
Come and join the festivities — Bring the family, the kids and/or your dog! There will be a stupid dog trick contest, activities for the kids, a live band and more!
- Event starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
- Admission is a $5.00 donation at the door.
Get your team together and prepare to WOW the judges with your secret chili recipe!
There will be two Chili categories: "Texas Red" (meat and sauce only, no fillers) and "Texas Down Home" (just good ol' chili — no rules).
Remember, all chili must be prepared on premises. Contestants will start cooking their chili at 10 a.m. and turn in their chili to the judges at 1 p.m.
Entry Fee is $100 per team. Team registrations have been extended to November 9! Credit cards accepted — please contact Jeff Hilder (214-766-2546) for specific information for this form of payment.
