A Note from the President
In 2004, DREAM Fund greatly benefited from your continued support. DREAM Fund was called upon to help many of our colleagues and we were able to respond with over $50,000 in addition to providing meals, babysitting services and emotional support.
We were encouraged and hopeful by the return to good health for some of our friends and saddened at the loss of several others. Many of you know that Mary Henry was especially dedicated to the DREAM Fund. Mary was the long-time Chair of the Decorating Committee for Night in Monte Carlo as well as part of our Philanthropy Outreach Team. In the midst of Mary's own fight, she took great comfort in helping others. In honor of Mary's commitment to helping others, DREAM Fund has established the Mary Henry Humanitarian Award. This award was presented to Mary's mother, Tommie Smith, and her son, Jason Henry, at the AWRT Awards of Excellence Charity Gala on March 31, 2004.
Planning for 2005 events is well under way. Our partner organizations, such as AWRT, The Dallas Ad League, Houston AWRT and DFWIMA, as well as our Dallas, Austin and several soon-to-be-announced new chapters, will continue to look to you for your help.
